Join us for a fun, hands-on make-and-take workshop where you'll craft your own jar of Fire Cider! A spicy, immune-boosting herbal tonic made with ingredients like garlic - locally grown from NettleBrook Farm, available at Andrew’s Farm Stand in Saanich - ginger, horseradish, and apple cider vinegar. You'll learn about the history and health benefits of this traditional remedy while creating a personalized blend to take home and enjoy. Each participant will take home a 500 mL jar of the seasonal Fire Cider we create together, which will provides 10–14 servings, depending on personal preference for strength and dilution.
Perfect for beginners and herbal enthusiasts alike, this class is all about seasonal wellness, creativity, and community. All materials are provided.

McKenzie Craig is a clinical herbalist, forager and founder of Making Medicine with McKenzie, where she teaches others how to connect with plants and create their own herbal remedies for everyday use.
