About this Event
The Ngiisdla (to heal, recover, and get well again, Haida) Garden team at Alaska Native Heritage Center invites you to "Finish the Unfinished" every Friday 5-8PM in April & May. Work on your unfinished crafts in a community rooted in healing, truth-telling, and cultural preservation. New crafts and crafters are welcome!
Sewing machines and basic crafting supplies (such as beads, scrap fur, and scrap fabric) will be available to use. Limited snacks will be provided; folks are welcome to
bring something to share.
Finish the Unfinished is held in the Mabel Pike Art Room at the Alaska Native Heritage Center and is free for the public to attend.
For more information contact ANHC Community Healing Garden Coordinator Uswi Madrid at [email protected] or (907) 201-7749.
