About this Event
Fine Arts Group X FOZZA presents:
MARAHUYO “TO BE ENCHANTED, CAPTIVATED OR CHARMED”
A photographic exhibition by Timothee Treasure
Step into a world where love, identity, and culture converge.
MARAHUYO is an evocative photographic journey that delves into the complexities of queer Filipino culture. A Sapphic Fiesta. A celebration of the spirit of MARAHUYO - a Filipino term capturing the essence of enchantment, allure, and the subtle magic of being captivated. At the heart of MARAHUYO lies an exploration of sapphic queer erasure, focusing on the historical and cultural narratives of the Philippines, both shaped by and resistant to colonialism.
