About this Event
A grounding discovery of self through pottery and mindfulness with Handsy & Clarity with Carson. Learn to coil, shape and glaze your own vase with Aotearoa sand through mindful pottering and guided meditation.
3 Hour Workshop includes:
- 2kgs of clay
- Tea by The Tea Thief
- Pottery tools
- Muriwai Black Sand + Local Orewa Sand
- Firing & Glazing
- Guided meditation
- Guided pottery session
What do I need to bring?
You can bring sand from your favourite beach in NZ or use local sand provided. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty. Keep your nails short! Long nails and clay aren't always friends.
*While our doors are normally open to all, due to restrictions regarding COVID-19 only double vaccinated guests will be able to participate in our workshops while we are in the current red traffic light system. Please bring your vaccination card with you to the event as per the regulations.*
