Hanover County’s Finding Value in Your Prime offers an educational and engaging morning for seniors filled with presentations, resources and games. The free event will take place during Older Americans Month on Thursday, May 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fairmount Christian Church, 6502 Creighton Road. Registration is required and available through Thursday, April 30, at www.hanoverparksrec.com.
Participants will enjoy presentations on active lifestyles, health and happiness, along with resource giveaways and games with door prizes. A complimentary light breakfast and boxed lunch will be available.
Donations of nonperishable food items are appreciated and will benefit the Mechanicsville Churches Emergency Functions (MCEF) food pantry.
