Our lives often seem overwhelming and way too busy. In the midst of all this, how does one carve out space for creative pursuits and live an artistic life? Daryl, a public servant and poet, will share about his own journey straddling two careers.

About the Speaker

Daryl Lim is a poet and literary critic. His poetry collection, Anything but Human, was shortlisted for the 2022 Singapore Literature Prize. He was awarded the Young Artist Award, Singapore’s highest honour for young arts practitioners, in 2023. During the day, he is the Deputy Director of Lifelong Learning Institute which supports working adults in their professional development to enhance their continuing education and training.
