Six distinguished voices. One essential question: What does it mean to call Wisconsin home? Join the Wisconsin Academy for an evening of dialogue exploring the heart of our state’s identity and the shared experiences that unite us as Wisconsinites.
Moderated by Steve Paulson and Anne Strainchamps, this program brings together the collective perspectives of Academy Fellows John Gurda, Richard J. Davidson, Katherine Cramer, and Karen Ann Hoffman.
From the secrets of the brain to the stories in our soil, we will examine the concept of “home” through a unique lens—spanning history, neuroscience, political science, and the arts.
The evening culminates in a special celebration as we officially announce the 2026 class of newly nominated Fellows.
This event will also be available virtually.
