Reclaiming Inner Strength in Times of Transition
About this Event

In the face of unexpected change - like job loss or uncertainty - it’s easy to feel powerless, anxious, and stuck. This 90-minute experiential session led by meditation expert and world-renowned author, Charlie Hogg from Australia, offers a safe and uplifting space to reconnect with your inner courage, rediscover your worth, and reignite your sense of purpose.

Through guided meditation, practical reflection exercises, and group dialogue, we’ll explore how to shift from fear to resilience and from loss to opportunity.

Whether you're a recently laid-off government worker or simply navigating a difficult life chapter, this session will empower you to find strength in stillness and clarity in chaos. Come with an open heart for healing and resilience - leave with renewed hope, tools for inner stability, and the confidence to move forward.

Charlie Hogg is the National Coordinator (Chief Executive) of the Brahma Kumaris in Australia and Chairman of its Board of Directors. With over seven billion people on Earth, questions about our impact on each other and the planet inspired Charlie Hogg to begin meditating. For over 40 years, Charlie has followed a dedicated spiritual path. As a senior Brahma Kumaris teacher, he travels extensively and has visited more than 80 countries as a speaker at international conferences, programs and at spiritual retreats; sharing his experiences of applying spirituality in daily life and also teaching meditation.

Charlie believes meditation is a powerful tool for maintaining mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being in a world increasingly challenged by anxiety, stress, greed and depression. He emphasizes the need for inner wisdom, noting that while intellect manages the outer world, spirituality helps us navigate the inner world - often clouded by anxiety, doubt, or ego. “The first relationship in life is with our inner being,” he says. “If that’s dysfunctional, everything becomes polluted - inside and out.”
