Australian-born folk artist Sabrina Ives invites you to a special songwriting experience, where you can explore the art of creating songs from the heart. Drawing on her deep passion for authentic storytelling, Sabrina’s workshops guide participants in discovering their own creative voice through melody, emotion, and narrative.
Each 1-hour session offers a warm, welcoming space for self-expression and discovery, a chance to listen inward, shape your emotions into melody, and bring your stories to life through song.
Workshop Details:
- Dates: Tuesday 11th, 18th & 25th November
- Time: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
- Location: The Playhouse, 5–7 Artillery St, Derry BT48 6RG
- Format: 3-session series (participants encouraged to attend all sessions)

Sabrina Ives is an Australian born singer-songwriter whose heartfelt, whimsical voice brings fresh resonance to the contemporary folk scene. Known for her evocative storytelling and charming stage presence, she has spent years crafting and sharing original music, steadily cultivating a devoted following through her blend of lyrical depth and authenticity.
Her powerful track "War on the Innocent" earned international acclaim, winning awards from both the American Golden Picture and Eastern Europe International Film Awards, a testament to her talent as both a musician and a narrative artist.
