FEATURING:
Redd & the Paper Flowers is an Appalachian Folk band based in Knoxville, TN. The four-piece band (guitar, mandolin, cello, bass, and vocals) has been performing and touring together since the summer of 2022, finding many “homes away from home” and making new friends across the US. The band often describes their genre as "living room folk" to convey the warmth and coziness of their harmonies and arrangements, combined with Redd's soulful lead vocals. The band brings their friendship and sense of humor to their performances, and their energy on stage has been described as "contagious."Redd & the Paper Flowers sings through hardship, loss, and genuine care for one another. Their latest album release, Appalachian Bell Jar, is inspired by the people and places of East Tennessee and the Greater Appalachian region. They are currently in the studio working on their next two projects, and are enjoying sharing new music with audiences back home, and on tour.
