About this Event
Are you interested in gaining grant-finding skills or refreshing your knowledge? Our one-hour interactive workshop aims to help you improve your confidence and increase your knowledge of where to generate income, through:
- Using grant funding search engines
- Finding other sources of funding
This workshop will be a mixture of presentation, interactive activities, and group discussion. It is aimed at those working, volunteering, or starting out in the VCFSE (voluntary, community and faith-based groups, and social enterprise organisations) sector in Stockport.
The workshop will be run by Stockport's Family Hubs VCFSE Lead, Charlotte Chilvers. Charlotte has a wealth of fundraising experience and knowledge having delivered similar training when she worked at Manchester Community Central.
Please note the room at Merseyway Innovation Centre holds a maximum of 8 people.
Refreshments such as tea and coffee will be provided.
Accessibility
Merseyway Innovation Centre is accessible via the first floor from the Merseyway / Redrock car park. Please wave at the door and a receptionist will let you in.
Parking
The Merseyway / Redrock car park is the closest and most accessible car park.
Alternatively Warren Street car park (The Old Sainsburys) charge £3.50 for the whole day, if you're looking for a cheaper option.
