About this Event
92% of adults find life after cancer harder than cancer treatment.
At Life after Cancer, we run support groups, workshops, and 6-week programmes for individuals post-cancer treatment, led by trained coaches with personal cancer experience. 98% of our community members report feeling less isolated and experiencing improved mental wellbeing after attending our services.
Are you based in Manchester or the surrounding areas and have finished cancer treatment? Our online peer support group, facilitated by Life after Cancer, is here to help you connect with others in your community to support, listen to each other and share your experience of cancer.
Who is this for? This is for anyone who has finished cancer treatment and lives in or around Manchester (within 60 miles).
Our facilitator: Groups are facilitated by trained coaches who have personal experience of cancer.
Spaces are limited: Capacity is limited. Please sign up and you will receive an email with a link to Zoom a few hours before the group starts.
Free Space: Please select the free space option if you are unable to make a donation. If all the free spots on Eventbrite are taken, and you're unable to afford a space but still wish to join us, please reach out by email to [email protected] with your name and the event you'd like to attend. We're here to support you.
We are looking forward to seeing you there.
Cost: Donations help support the continuation of Life after Cancer's services. Free tickets available thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund.
