Thinking about starting or growing a business but not sure how to fund it? This practical and informative workshop will help you understand the full range of business funding options and choose the right approach for your idea.
You’ll learn how to:
• assess your own funding needs,
• explore grant, debt and equity funding
• understand the benefits and risks of each option.
We’ll also cover common pitfalls when applying for funding, with a strong focus on cash flow and how it impacts funding decisions.
You’ll also be introduced to local support and resources, including how BIPC and Manchester Libraries can support you with information, tools and advice to support your funding journey.
Ideal for: Aspiring entrepreneurs, early-stage businesses, and anyone exploring funding to start or grow their business.
To join this workshop you or your business needs to have a postcode within Greater Manchester You also need to be:
An aspiring entrepreneur with a business idea you want to develop.
Or
The owner of a business less than one year old.
