The Pacific Resident Theatre welcomes the Los Angeles Metropolitan Opera for an electrifying evening celebrating one of opera’s most thrilling traditions: the great Act I Finales.
These high‑voltage scenes—where passions erupt, alliances fracture, lovers collide, and entire worlds tilt—will be brought to life by a powerhouse ensemble of singers in a concert of rare intensity and theatrical sweep. Audiences will experience the dramatic brilliance of Bellini, Bizet, Mozart, Puccini, and Rossini, each composer unleashing their signature blend of melody, momentum, and emotional heat.
And because the company simply couldn’t resist, the program expands beyond Act I: the night will also feature a blazing Act II Finale and culminate in a triumphant Grand Finale that brings the full cast together in a whirlwind of vocal fireworks.

Check-in will begin at 6:30 PM in our main space (703 Venice Blvd), where you can enjoy concessions and use the restrooms before the performance. When house opens, simply exit the main lobby and proceed one door to your left to our concert hall, Wanda's (705) Doors open at 6:45 PM. Our staff will have you seated promptly. The venue offers an intimate cabaret atmosphere with soft lighting and table seating, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening of music!
