About this Event
Hey VU Fam,
We're closing out the year with one more big Volunteering Untapped event, and it’s going to be a special one. On Saturday, December 13th, we’re teaming up with and a powerhouse group of partner organizations, which include:
- Believe Mugs, The Maryland Book Bank, Sharebaby, The Maryland Furniture Bank, Break a Difference and Leveling the Playing Field
We'll need all hands on deck, and the tasks will include:
- Sorting, organizing, and inventorying donations
- Building benches
- Painting exit markings, floors, and directional signage
- Categorizing donated books & assembling book bags
- Sports equipment cleaning and upkeep
Plus, we're hosting a book drive. Bring a book or two to donate if you can. Book donation guidelines can be found here.

When: December 13th from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Where: 1794 Union Ave, Baltimore, MD, 21211
What to wear: Warm Clothes/Layers, you will be working in a warehouse. Or go bold and wear your favorite ugly sweater ?
Parking: On-site parking is available, and we’ll have arrows pointing you in the right direction. Just look for the rainbow-painted staircase!
