We meet upstairs, in the beautiful Movement/Big Floor space. Holding hands, we form a circle around our 2 or 3 musicians, and we learn to sing simple songs or chants together with some movements that we do in unison. The words for these songs come from many of the world's wisdom traditions.
This is a simple but powerful practice that tends to evoke a sense of unity and inner joyfulness. It opens hearts and lifts spirits!
You may bring some comfy socks to dance in, as shoes are not allowed in this space, as well as your water bottle, and $5 to pay for the space, if you can afford it. There's a donation basket and usually a QR code if you don't have cash.
All ages, ethnicities, and genders are welcome. Come as you are.
The flowers in the photo are Coreopsis, which are currently blooming!
