Filthy Fridays Comedy - with MARK SILCOX
1st Friday every month. Two fantastic local comedians and a Fabulous headliner compered by Danielle Cooper.
Mark Silcox
Mark is mainly known for his starring role as Joe Lycett’s side kick on channel 4’s consumer rights comedy show, Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, with a clip of him challenging Burger King on their motto "Have it your way" going viral and prompting a response from Burger King themselves.
Mark made it to the finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards 2013 and was one of several Asian comedians to be featured on BBC’S, The Big Asian Stand-Up.
He has also appeared on Romesh: Comedians in Pubs Talking Comedy on BBC Three, An Immigrants guide to Britain on Channel 4 and Sick of It alongside Karl Pilkington on Sky1, amongst others.
Alex Mason
Alex Mason is an acclaimed stand-up comedian based in Brighton. Highly in-demand across the UK comedy circuit, his combination of sharp writing, relaxed stage presence, and a ruthlessly introspective approach makes him a truly unique – and hilarious – performer.
Since first stepping on stage a few years ago, Mason has compered and headlined shows across the country, been a finalist in numerous prestigious comedy awards, and has developed a reputation as one of the circuit’s most exciting new acts.
Steph Cassin
Komedia New Comedy Award Finalist Steph Cassin draws on growing up in rural Ireland for comedic inspiration.
Expect jokes about family, Catholicism, agriculture and nuns.
She was once described as a character comedian "straight from Craggy Island" despite very much being herself on stage...
