Film Screening - The Art of Sin

The Royal Norwegian Embassy is hosting a screening of *The Art of Sin*, a 59-minute documentary by Ibrahim Mursal, on November 4. The film follows Sudanese artist Ahmed Umar, who, after coming to Norway as a refugee, became the first openly gay man from Sudan. The film explores his struggles with identity, masculinity, and returning to Sudan despite the dangers of his sexuality. Attendees can expect free popcorn, soft drinks, a live Q&A with the director, and a mystery prize!
