As we continue to celebrate the surrealist legacy of Luis Buñuel, join us for a special screening honoring another pioneering surrealist: Spanish-French filmmaker Segundo Víctor Aurelio Chomón y Ruiz. A visionary of early cinema, Chomón’s technical brilliance and inventive visual effects helped shape the language of silent film.

This program features 66 of his remarkable works, including Lee Fee Printempt, La masión encantada, and The Fantastic Diver.

The evening includes the full film program, access to the museum, and delicious champurrado available for purchase from a local Chicagoland vendor.
