About this Event
Join us on Thursday, December 11 at 7 PM for a screening of Coyotes, the acclaimed 20-minute short film recently awarded Best Short at the BFI Film Festival.
Set on a desolate night in the occupied West Bank, Coyotes follows young surgeon Lubna as an unexpected breakdown on a remote road leads to an unsettling encounter with a stranger. Blending thriller elements with sharp political insight, director Said Zagha offers a gripping look at autonomy, vulnerability, and the pressures facing Palestinians simply trying to live their lives.
Inspired by real accounts, Coyotes reframes familiar narratives with complex characters and a tense, atmospheric unfolding that highlights the emotional and political landscape of the region.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A conversation.
