Alongside the Black British Ballet: Into the Light exhibition currently in Scunthorpe Central, and to mark Black History Month, we shall be showing the National Theatre's 2022 production of Othello. Starring Giles Terera, Rosy McEwan and Paul Hilton, Clint Dyer's production takes a radical new look at Shakespeare's unflinching tragedy of jealousy, discrimination, doomed love and misplaced loyalties.
Please book a (free) seat via www.opac.northlincs.gov.uk/events (search 'ballet'). Audience members are welcome to bring their own refreshments - tea and coffee will be provided.
The performance lasts approx 2 hours and 45 minutes, starting at 6.30pm and including a short interval. Doors at 5.30pm, to allow viewing of the Into the Light exhibition beforehand. Age recommendation for the play is 12+.
