Formed in 1984 and based in north Derbyshire, Cold Flame are known for their original blues rock music interspersed with elements of progressive folk rock which has won them many fans across the UK and beyond. Well respected across the UK for their live performances and also for a number of acclaimed studio and live albums, the band are currently signed to Starring Records based in west Yorkshire.
The Cold Flame showcase concert at Garthorpe Village Hall in the centre of Garthorpe north Lincolnshire on Saturday October 18th marks a welcome return for the band following last year's concert at St. Mary's Church in the village. Acknowledged as the premier Jethro Tull tribute band in the UK, Cold Flame are set to include several songs from the quintessential Tull studio album 'Aqualung' album alongside many other Tull classics in their two hour performance which will be split into two separate sets with a 20 minute interval. The band will operate a merchandise stall during the evening for those people in the audience who are interested in the group's many studio album releases.
