About this Event
Join us for the launch of the Women’s Museum Film Programme with a special panel discussion exploring women’s voices in film, filmmaking as a feminist practice, and the role of memory in shaping cinematic storytelling.
Moderated by the Women’s Museum Curator, the conversation brings together this years invited guest curators to discuss the realities of working in the film industry today, the histories and experiences that inform women’s filmmaking, and how film can act as a space for collective memory, resistance, and representation:
- Ying Di Yin — Girls in Film
- Isra Al Kassi — TAPE Collective
- Nuala O'Sullivan — WOFFF
- Sarah Carne
The panel will reflect on whose stories are remembered, archived, and told through film - and how women continue to reshape the cinematic landscape through creative practice and storytelling.
The event marks the opening of the Women’s Museum Film Programme and will be followed by opportunities for audience discussion and networking.
