🎥 ABOUT THE FILM:
In a quiet border town, a son and his mother face change, routine, and the unspoken tension between holding on and letting go.
🌟ABOUT THE FILMMAKER:
Jaiziel is a graduate of the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in CDMX, photographer and director, and partner and founder of Estación Marte Films.
He served as cinematographer on the documentary Hasta los dientes, which won the Ariel Award for Best Feature Documentary in 2018. In 2019, he was the cinematographer for Se escuchan aullidos by Guatemalan director Julio Hernández Cordón. In 2020, he directed his debut feature Días de Invierno, which premiered at FICUNAM and Gramado, and was distributed in Mexican theaters in 2021 through EFICINE.
In 2023, he shot Acto controlado de lo absurdo, directed by Chinese filmmaker Chengliang Zhu, currently in post-production.
