Have something that needs fixing? 🔧Burlington Repair Café will be joining us at the theatre from 1–4 pm to repair your small household items for FREE! 🧰🍿 From lamps and kettles to blenders and more, these skilled volunteers are here to help give your items a second life.
📩 Interested in attending? Please email the team at [email protected] to let them know what you'd like to bring. This helps volunteers come prepared and book a time slot for you.
While the service is free, donations (pay what you can) are appreciated to help cover the cost of replacement parts.
Please note the list of items
❌ They do not fix: Electronics (ie. anything with a circuit board in it) - TVs, CD & DVD players, stereo systems, cell phones, computers, game boxes, lawn mowers, chain saws, W**d whackers, sewing machines, Kitchen Aid mixers, portable refrigerators/ice machines, humidifiers, de-humidifiers, clocks, jewellry, power tools, bicycles, printers. Because of location, we cannot offer textile mending.
✅ They can work on: lamps, fans, vacuum cleaners, coffee makers, hair dryers/curlers/straighteners, paper shredders, replacement of broken electrical cords & plugs, toasters, kettles, blenders, heating pads, irons, rice cookers.
