DramaWorks Film & Screen Acting course is for adult students who would like to gain practical training in acting for on-screen performance. By working both behind and in front of the camera students gain deeper understanding of acting methods specifically for on-camera acting and portraying truthful and compelling performances on screen.We explore a variety of genres from comedy and drama to commercials and presenting. Learn to make decisions on character development, blocking and vocal skills that take the actor from script to screen.
Alongside on-camera practice, students explore the creative process of filmmaking from devising, script writing and directing scenes and short films. Through practical tasks and hands-on training students gain confidence both in front and behind the camera, further learning how camera techniques can be used to enhance their acting performance and tell a story.
