About this Event
In Film & Futurism
Join us for an evening of cinematic poetics and collaborative world-building.
In this workshop, poets and filmmakers come together to build scenes, write script notes, and lean into sensory, embodied storytelling.
Facilitated by Tajianna Okechukwu. Tajianna is a Bay-Area–based actor, filmmaker, and teaching artist whose work weaves Afro-futurist lenses with stories rooted in Black experiences.
Expect a hands-on, generative space where you can blur the boundaries between film and poetry, form and feeling, imagination and reality.
