It’s here and it’s coming quick, Saturday 16th May the Filey Steampunk Strongman Competition.Open Men and Open Women, everyone is welcome! Thanks to some amazing sponsors we have a subsidised £25 entry fee and £2000 cash prize fund!
In a change up to the normal format, each event will run simultaneously, 5 stations and athletes will move round as they wish to complete each event.
Event 1 - Apollons Axle over head press max reps 60s.
Sleeves, wrist wraps, Grip tops all allowed.
120kg Men
55kg Women
Event 2 - Silver Dollar Deadlift max reps 60s.
Normal and fig 8 straps allowed, suits allowed.
340kg Men
210kg Women
Event 3 - Farmers carry Max distance 60s.
10m drop and turn. Multiple drops allowed, keep going till the pains too much.
130kg Men
70kg Women
Event 4 - Sandbag Medley, Carry 15m and Load. Max time 75s.
No grip tops.
Men - 100/120/140
Women - 60/70/80
Event 5 - Stones to barrels, 10 stones fastest time. Stones will be infront of barrels and lifted onto in the fastest time possible. Split times on less then 10. Powdered chalk (provided) only no grip tops or stone sleeves.
Men - 70-160
Women - 30-120
