Filippo Bonamici to artysta o charakterystycznej barwie głosu, wykonujący autorskie połączenie indie-rocka, folku i soulu, który w tekstach swoich piosenek nie stroni od trudnych i osobistych tematów. Urodził się we Włoszech, ale od nastoletnich lat pomieszkiwał też między innymi w Irlandii, Hiszpanii i Niemczech, chłonąc bardzo różnorodne inspiracje muzyczne. Jeszcze przed wydaniem debiutanckiego albumu wystąpił na Montreux Jazz Festival, Lollapalooza, Eurosonic, The Great Escape, a także otwierał koncerty Imagine Dragons, Milky Chance czy Sama Fendera.

"Something had built up over the years, additionally there were countless deadlines and suddenly I was having more and more panic attacks." FIL BO RIVA canceled everything, went into therapy, analyzed unhealthy behavior and work patterns and regained confidence.
