Fight For Animal Rights Event 🌱 Location: The Barbell Division, SO18 1DH

Our next event is one close to our hearts. We’re collaborating with the amazing grassroots group Southampton Animal Action to raise money for their campaigns and outreach work. All proceeds will go directly to supporting their efforts. 🙌
As many of you know, several of our staff and gym members are vegan or plant-based. This event will introduce you to some of the different ways people are helping animals, from making changes in their own lives to taking action to create wider change.
You don’t need to be a gym-goer, vegan or plant-based to attend. Everyone is welcome! 💚

10:00–10:30am: Arrival / food samples / board of actions ✅
10:30–11:00am: What is Southampton Animal Action? — Cat P. 📢
11:30am–12:30pm: Vegan Pet Food: A Diet Change Revolution Begins — Professor Andrew Knight 🐶😸
12:30–1:00pm: Food / build your own protein bowl 🥣
1:00–1:30pm: Strength Sports on a Plant-Based Diet 💪
1:30–2:30pm: The Basics of Strongman — Tom Butts (3× World's Strongest Man U90kg) 🏋️♂️

1:30–2:30pm: The Basics of Powerlifting — Daniel Jay and Tzveti T. (national and international-level powerlifting and strongman athletes) 🏋️♀️
2:30–3:00pm: End Greyhound Racing — Chloe (featuring Ron the rescued greyhound) 🐕
