DMWH is climbing in the 2026 Fight For Air Climb.In 2020, I lost my dad to lung cancer that metastasized to his brain. Many of you also know my husband, Jason, is a Des Moines firefighter—where breathing unclean air is an occupational hazard of the job.
At DMWH, we are strong, resilient women—but we are also daughters, partners, friends, and caregivers. I know I am not alone in loving someone who has struggled to breathe.
We climb for them. We climb together.
