Let's Rock and Roll Bingo!!! Please join us on January 17th, 2026 at Tri Township Activity Center in Troy to support Iean and the fight for his life.
Starting in October 2023, Iean has went through foot surgery, partial foot amputation, 13 months of cancer treatment, and heart surgery to come out No Evidence of Disease in May 2025. He started to feel better and more like himself in June of 2025 only to find out in September that cancer had returned and progressed to Stage 4. Melanoma spread through his colon and lymph nodes next to his stomach causing him to begin a harsh chemo cocktail and require major surgery in January 2026. We thought we would have more time cancer free to rebuild our finances but the universe had different plans. Treatment round 2 began in September and this chemical cocktail has taken its toll on Iean leaving him unable to get out of bed most days. We take pride in our independence but are beyond the point of needing help.
Through all this from 2023 to current, we have depleted our savings and have taken a massive hit in income with Iean unable to work. He lays in bed and heavily worries about our bills and each new month approaching. My heart is deeply pained to watch him physically hurt, suffer all the side effects of treatment, be poked and prodded, and worry if he will will be here the next day, month, year for me, our children, and our grandson. The pain is unbearable of thinking of him not being the first thing I see when I open my eyes each morning, not being on the other end of the phone checking in, touching toes when watching movies, sharing stories of our kids growing up, or feeling the warmth in his hug. Iean is our family's lifeline, an amazing father, and the love of my life. He has the most loving heart, patient, upbeat, positive and cares deeply about people and the relationships he creates. PLEASE join us in January to show him support, love, and help our family through this incredibly difficult time.
We will have cash prizes for bingo, 50/50, silent auction, and a meat raffle. We hope to pack the house and boost his spirits in support. I cannot convey our appreciation and gratitude to everyone.
