The 2026 Spring leg of our Fifth and Clark Fridays continues with Display Case and Riley Jane!Display Case band members came together in a basement in suburban Des Moines, Iowa, releasing their first album, “Make Your Mark” in 2012 and completing their first two national tours in 2013 & 2014. Display Case blends their own unique musical style influenced by pop-punk, hardcore and rock with thoughtful lyrics throughout. This band is not to be missed live as their high energy performance will have you on your feet for the duration. Drummer Joey pounds out a grunge influenced beat with Charlie on bass and John sharing his gift on lead guitar. Lead vocalist, Jordan, gives his all relentlessly night after night.
Riley Jane is a Des Moines local singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She’s been performing independently and previously as a member of a local band for roughly 7 years. With an alternative folksy-pop sound, Riley’s original songs offer very relatable insight into the coming-of-age struggles and celebrations of teen life. Riley has played the 80/35 music festival, the Iowa State Fair, as well as many local venues and farmers markets in and around the Des Moines and Cedar Falls area, including xBk Live, Captain Roy’s, the Octopus, Lefty’s, King Buck’s, etc. Riley performs her own original songs acoustically or along to backtracks, as well as fan-favorite covers of popular artists!
Admission to this event is $10. Advance tickets are on sale now, or you can pay at the door. Students will receive 2-for-1 admission by showing their student IDs at the door!
These shows are made possible with generous funding from The Iowa Arts Council and The National Endowment for the Arts!
