The first official event accommodated for the community with special needs since 1994. Enjoy a family-oriented event in a safe environment. Live entertainment Stage, games, fiesta vendors. Visit our “Taste of Fiesta Food Booths” with a great variety of food at affordable prices.
Fiesta Festival® it’s an enjoyable
fundraising event that benefits approximately 200 residents with Intellectual
and developmental disabilities (IDD) that live at the SA State Supported Living
Center. They love Fiesta and invite family and Community friends. Our event was
created to include our residents in the camaraderie of Fiesta.
Free event and free parking
Parade begins at 12:00 noon. (You can bring
folding chairs to enjoy)
The Volunteer Services Council (VSC) for the
San Antonio State Supported Living Center (SASSLC) is a 501c3 nonprofit
organization which provides volunteer and funds support to enrich the lives of
the residents. The VSC sponsors birthday celebrations, recreation, activities,
special Olympics, and holiday events for the residents served at the Living
Center.
