Como todos los años nos encontramos en las alturas de Fløyen para conectarnos con los espíritus de la montaña y del bosque, al son de la música mágica. Daremos nuestros agradecimiento "pago" a la Tierra (Pachamama), bailaremos alrededor del árbol como en los cortamontes o yunzas de los Andes. Trae un "regalo" para el arbol, algo para comer y beber, y lo mas importante, tu entusiasmo y buena energía. Es una fiesta al aire libre. Es un evento para todas las edades, incluyendo niños, abuelos y toda la familia.
La fiesta es en VESTBU (a 5 m de la estación Fløyen).
El ritual montañoso andino de la "yunza", conocido en Perú como "umisha" en la selva y "cortamonte" en la región costera, es un aspecto importante del Carnaval. Los encargados de las festividades plantan artificialmente un árbol lleno de regalos y decoraciones. Cuando todos los invitados han llegado, todo el mundo comienza a bailar alrededor del árbol en el tiempo con la música de la banda o grupo. Después de un tiempo, las parejas comienzan a cortar en el árbol con un hacha o un machete. La tradición continúa al año siguiente, cuando la pareja que hace el columpio final que derriba el árbol hace todos los arreglos para ese año Yunza. ¡Bienvenidos todos!

Velkommen til en fantastisk fest på toppen av Fløyen! Vi griller, spiser, drikker, synger, spiller musikk, koser oss og danser ute i skogen til de herlige rytmer fra fine musikere. Vi gjør som i Andesfjellene hvor man takker Moder Jord, "Pachamama," ved å danse rundt et tre og feirer det som jorden og naturen gir oss. Ta med en liten gave som du kan henge på treet (helst noe miljøvennlig), noe å spise og drikke, men viktigst av alt: Ta med god energi, entusiasme og kos deg ute i den flotte naturen på Fløyen. Arrangementet er for hele familien. Ta gjerne med både barn og besteforeldre.
Festen er på Vestbu bortenfor Trollskogen noen få minutter fra Fløibanens øvre stasjon.
"Yunza" er et ritual som kommer fra Andesfjellene. I Peru er det kjent som "umisha" i jungelen, og "cortamonte" i kystregionen. Det er en viktig del av karnevalet. De som har ansvaret for festlighetene setter ned et tre som er pyntet med gaver og dekorasjoner. Når alle gjestene har kommet, begynner alle å danse rundt treet i takt med musikken til bandet som spiller. Etter en stund begynner man parvis å hugge i stammen på treet med en øks eller en machete. Det paret som hugger ned treet har, etter tradisjonen, ansvaret for å arrangere neste års Yunza. Velkommen alle sammen!

Like the past years we will celebrate life on the top of Fløyen. We will dance with the mountains, the sky and the trees with the powerful music of musicians. We will do like in the Andes, where people give thanks to the Earth "Pachamama", dance around a tree, and connect with the nature. Bring a small gift for the tree, something to drink and eat (there is a place for barbeque), and the most important, your best energy. Everybody is welcome! Feel free to bring your children, grandparents and the whole family!
The event will take place at Vestbu by the Trollskogen forrest, a few minutes from the upper station at Fløibanen.

The Andean highland ritual of the "yunza," known in Peru as "umisha" in the jungle and "cortamonte" in the coastal region, is an important aspect of the carnival. Those in charge of the festivities artificially plant a tree loaded with gifts and decorations. When all of the guests have arrived, everyone begin dancing around the tree to the rhytms of the music played by a group of musicians. After a while couples begin to chop at the tree with an axe or a machete.
