For those who attended the first “Fields of Fury” event in ‘24, what we have going for this year will be similar but expanded upon. For those who did not attend last year, you are in for a dandy of a time!

The Saturday morning tactical will be objective based missions. Maps and objectives will be given out to commanders prior to entering the action. Civilian participation will be needed! There is a lot going on in those woods, but only a few people know all the details. This keeps the action interesting, continually moving, and very organic. The main objective reward will again be 10lbs of powder.
Progressive and Campaign companies will be able to run continuous pickets and skirmishing as the commanders see fit throughout the weekend.

Demonstrations and Battles for the public will occur both afternoons. Semi-scripted battles but not the tennis court back and forth bull***t. These will be moving battles that cover the three adjoining fields we used for last year’s FOF public battles. The spectators will have a roped off area at the edge of the field to view the battle but they will also have to keep moving to watch it all. There will be NO bleachers at this event.

While the battle is moving the wounded, from both sides, will start making their way to the barn for the aftermath medical scenario. It will be strongly encouraged to get at least 50% of the reenactors to participate in the aftermath. Once the battle has moved through the field the ambulance wagons will come in and begin loading up those too wounded to move under their own power and take them to the barn for treatment as well as burial details being dispatched.

We are in search of medical reenactors that have their own equipment as well as volunteers to be Ambulance Corps as well as Stewards to assist the wounded. Medical scenarios can be a delicate situation to balance the horror with the hokey. It is all of our responsibility to keep it authentically believable and not over the top theatrics.

This is not a recreation of any actual event so a very basic and generic impression guideline will be available soon.
We are also looking for quality sutlers to set up or those interested in doing blanket sales at a specific time during the event.
