The Fresno City & County Historical Society is thrilled to present the 2026 season opener of the beloved Fields of Fresno: Ag Tour series with Blueberries, Roots & Rows on Saturday, April 25th, 2026. Imagine a guided adventure through the Central Valley’s agricultural landscape found right in our very own backyard.The tour begins at the Kearney Mansion Museum, part of what was once the nearly 7,000-acre Fruit Vale Estate, with stops at a curated selection of Valley locales, reflecting the various stages of the crops. Stops will include Marthedal Farms in Fresno, the California Blueberry Nursery in Selma, Sweet Girl Farms in Reedley, and Marechal Vineyards in Sanger.
Featuring all new local sites, this tour offers a unique opportunity to experience a strong cross-section of Valley agriculture in one day, from early-stage growing to fresh farmstand products, meandering into lunch and a wine tasting at a local vineyard and finishing with the turn-of-the-century Mansion tour, where the introduction of colony farming takes center stage.
