The theme for our September book club was inspired by National Talk Like a Pirate Day in September with "Tress of the Emerald Sea" by Brandon Sanderson being the pirate-themed book poll winner. The official Fiction Beer CO book club meets monthly--usually on the third Monday of each month. We meet at 7:00 pm in the Denver taproom. What we do: drink beers and talk about the book. Discussion questions help guide and focus the discussion; however, going off topic is encouraged.
We have a great mix of gregarious bookish folks mixed with introverted bookish folks and we happily welcome new people into the fold.
