Thank you for your interest in the Uniontown Art Club’s Fiber Group - we look forward to meeting you!The UAC Fiber Arts Group is a cozy and welcoming place for fiber artists who love creating, preserving, and sharing the fiber arts that were once an integral part of our ancestors’ lives.
We’re building a community of like-minded folks with shared interests and skills in fiber arts. Our goal is to connect, learn from each other, laugh together, and support each other through both happy and challenging times.
Whether you’re into knitting, crochet, macrame, or any kind of embroidery - you’re welcome here! Portable spinning wheels or looms are also great - bring along any fiber art project you’d like to work on and enjoy while also taking some time to relax, unwind and create new friendships.
We plan to meet every other Saturday at the Uniontown Art Club’s Gallery 86, located at 86 W. Main Street in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, from noon until 3:00 p.m. unless we have to cancel or change due to bad weather or other circumstances.
The only cost to join us is a small contribution to a ‘tip jar’ that will be on the table. These donations will help us keep the UAC space running smoothly, which we really appreciate. Don’t worry - you don’t need to be a Member of the UAC to join us - just come in and let’s create some amazing fiber art together!
