About this Event
Step softly into a winter retreat held in the peaceful surroundings of St Fagans.
Rooted in the meaning of its name — “spring” or “well” in Welsh — Ffynnon invites you to pause, soften, and return to yourself.
Held on Dydd Santes Dwynwen, the Welsh Valentine’s Day, this one-day retreat is an invitation to honour love in all its forms — especially the quiet, nurturing kind we offer ourselves. A space to rest deeply, reconnect with your inner world, and be held by the gentle presence of nature.
Throughout the day, our experienced facilitators will lovingly guide you through practices to restore your energy, release tension, and invite stillness and warmth into midwinter.
🧘♀️ Welcome Yoga – Begin with a slow, heart-opening yoga practice with @cloudstaryoga to gently awaken the body and cultivate inner warmth.
🌬 Winter Breathwork Journey – Be guided by @ninthdimensionbreathwork through a restorative breathwork session to support emotional release and renewal.
🖊 Journalling Moments – Settle into quiet moments of reflection with simple prompts for self-compassion, insight, and intention-setting for the year ahead.
🥗 Nourishing Lunch – Enjoy a wholesome seasonal meal lovingly prepared by holistic nutritionist @mollylove_functionalnutrition — food to comfort and replenish.
🌿 Nature Walk & Herbal Tea – Wrap up warm and wander through the stillness of St Fagans with a cup of herbal tea from Brew and Breathe, letting winter’s calm ground your nervous system.
🥣 Nutrition Talk – A gentle conversation on nourishment and seasonal wellbeing with @mollylove_functionalnutrition, exploring ways to support your energy and mood in the colder months.
🔔 Sound Bath Closing Ceremony – Rest and integrate as you’re cocooned in soothing sound, held once again by @cloudstaryoga, closing the day in stillness and love.
💙 A winter space to exhale, listen inward, and offer yourself the tenderness you most need.
