FEWI is delighted to invite members to our 109th County Annual Meeting. Along with our usual business of the day we are pleased to confirm that our speakers will be Founder of Community Clothing and Judge on BBC’s Great British Sewing Bee, Patrick Grant and, back by popular demand, Billericay WI's Doreen Potter.
Each WI has the opportunity to send one delegate for £5 (reclaimable from your WI) - if you are booking as a delegate, please select a Delegate ticket and book by 31st March 2026. After this date unused delegate places will be released to other members and non-members to purchase.
We have early-bird booking prices for members and non-members, available from the 1st - 31st January 2026. After this period we are offering a 10% discount off the standard member rate for groups of 10+.
A tea/coffee on arrival is included in your ticket.
The Brentwood Centre is all on one level or has ramps where there are a few steps.
TRAVEL
The Brentwood Centre is serviced by First Bus No 37 running from Brentwood Station. The bus stop is called Leisure Centre.
Parking - There is plenty of free parking, including accessible parking, in front of the Centre.
Coach/Minibus travel - if you organise a coach or minibus for group travel, please ensure that you notify [email protected] so that we can make appropriate arrangements. Coaches and minibuses should turn into the centre and then immediately left for parking behind the Centre.
Lunch - you have the option of bringing a packed lunch or pre-booking a packed lunch from the onsite café. There are no other facilities nearby from which to purchase food.
Cash/Card - please note that the venue itself is card only but our traders and the WI Shop will accept cash or card. You will need cash to take part in the raffle.
Timings - The doors open at 9am and the meeting will start at 10.30 and finish at approximately 3.30pm.
