Join us on Sunday, December 7th, for a delightful experience at our printing workshops. You can select between Lino Printing or Gel plate Printing – or participate in both for double the fun!
Festive Lino Printing Workshop
11.00–12.30
Surprise your friends and family with hand-made holiday cards and gift tags, making every present a true masterpiece.
In this workshop you’ll be guided to design and carve your own small lino plate, perfect for printing on gift tags, greeting cards, and gift bags. This relaxed, hands-on session is ideal for beginners and seasoned makers alike. Enjoy a cosy, festive atmosphere with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie while you work. And as your prints dry, you can take the time to browse our shop for unique Christmas gifts.
This workshop will be led by artist Alison Ayres, who has a wealth of teaching experience, working at Rowan and with the Fitzwilliam Museum Learning team. She is highly skilled in different print techniques.
All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring in any images for inspiration.

Festive Gel plate Printing Workshop

Join us for a joyfully experimental printing session and create your own textured prints! Using a gel printing plate, you’ll experiment with colour, layering, and pattern to design gift bags, greeting cards, or a larger print to frame. You can also cut your prints into festive shapes for unique gift tags.
All materials are provided, along with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie to keep you in the Christmas spirit. Why not come in earlier and do a bit of Christmas shopping before settling in for this creative afternoon.
