About this Event
Spend a cosy afternoon getting creative with a selection of festive crafts designed to delight and inspire. Attendees can choose up to three activities from the following seasonal makes:
- Felt Tree Decorations – sew from a choice of seven charming designs to hang on your tree or gift to a friend.
- Fabric Gift Wrap – stitch a simple wrap for a small present (please bring one along to wrap).
- Glitter Pine Cones on a Log Slice – create a rustic decoration with a touch of sparkle.
- Painted Pebble Snowflakes – decorate a wintery design on a hand-painted stone.
All materials will be provided (except the small gift for wrapping), and friendly guidance will be available throughout. Whether you're crafting for gifts or simply enjoying the process, this session offers a warm and welcoming space to get creative.

This workshop is one of the many festive workshops taking place during our Christmas in the Green House series which is running from Monday 24 November to Tuesday 9 December. The workshops are free and funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund

Getting to the Greenhouse Community Hub
The Greenhouse Community Hub is centrally located within Victoria Park, directly opposite the aviary. It’s easily accessible by various modes of transport:
- By Car: Pay-and-display parking is available around Victoria Park, and additional paid parking can be found at the nearby St John’s Cathedral car park.
- By Train: The park is a short walk from Portsmouth & Southsea train station.
- By Bus: Victoria Park is situated in the city centre and is served by several bus routes. It’s also adjacent to the Park & Ride drop-off and collection point.
