SLAM will celebrate the holiday season with free concerts, tours, gallery activations, and art-making activities every Friday from November 28 through December 19. In between programs and visits to the galleries, stop by a holiday pop-up bar in Sculpture Hall to purchase seasonal drinks and snacks.December 19 Schedule
4 pm and 5 pm, Arthur B. and Helen K. Baer Gallery 222
Judith Mann, senior curator of European art to 1800 will discuss Madonna and Child Enthroned with Sts. Peter, John the Baptist, Dominic, and Nicholas of Bari by Piero di Cosimo.
6 pm, Grigg Gallery
The Greenleaf Singers will perform carols and other Renaissance music.
7 pm, The Farrell Auditorium
Early Music Missouri will perform a free concert of holiday music with vocal and instrumental music ranging from Gregorian chant to High Renaissance motets.
