Join us for a Festive Evening at MTU Blackrock Castle Observatory!
Your holiday experience begins with a captivating Star Show in our theatre, where our expert team members will guide you through the magical winter night sky. From there, immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere as you explore the castle's beautiful holiday interior, including a 17th century fireplace adorned with stockings and Santa's chair - perfect for family photos.
Your visit includes:
- A 25-minute Star Show in the theatre.
- A special message from Santa, just for our guests*.
- Santa's Workshop Activities where children can write and post letters to Santa and enjoy holiday crafts.
- Access to the Christmas Round Room and Lower Roof Terrace, complete with reindeer, Christmas trees, and festive decor.
This 1-1.5-hour experience is family-friendly and designed to bring the magic of Christmas to life!
Our festive evenings will run from 30th November to 22nd December.
Festive Visit Opening Hours:
Fridays: 5pm to 8pm
Saturdays and Sundays: 3pm to 8pm
Please note that access to the top of the tower is NOT permitted with this ticket.
*Santa will be busy delivering and making presents and will not be at the castle on the day of your visit.
