Festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia. It is produced by Woodfordia Inc in partnership with many other wonderful Australian festivals, regional partners and great lovers and supporters of folk and contemporary acoustic music. Ballandean Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Bundjalung (Githabul), Gamilaroi, Kambuwal People.
Historical Ballandean Hall is the heart of the community where locals go for any celebration. Weekly activities include Wednesday night sport night, Thursday night meal night and Cup of Tea and a Chat every second Tuesday morning.
Festival of Small Halls rolls into Ballandean on Saturday, 9 December 2023 with Jackie Marshall and Assynt.
Opening the show will be local act Mario Costanzo!
Mario Costanzo (vocals and guitar) and Neal Hands have been performing round the ridges of Ballandean for a lifetime and play a mix of easy listening music with a country flavour.
Meals will be available at the Hall from 5.00pm, provided by Ballandean State School P&C .
There will be cheese platters available during interval.
Bar Service will be available with both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks including refreshing cocktails and local wines, provided by the Ballandean Hall Committee.

Full Admission – $15
Concession Admission (Pensioners and Students) – $10
You can also purchase tickets locally at Ballandean Post Office.

Show Starts 7.00pm
Ballandean Hall has accessible entry (road level same as foyer).

Festival of Small Halls events take place in venues operating under an approved QLD Health Covid Safe Event Checklist, and has stringent Workplace Health and Safety requirements for all travelling artists and crew. Under the terms and conditions of all events, you must not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid-19.
