Across three inspiring days of performances, rehearsals, and sectionals, musicians of all abilities will have the opportunity to learn and perform alongside the professional players of the Australian Army Band Kapooka and the Riverina Conservatorium of Music.All concert band musicians are welcome, with three graded ensembles designed to suit a range of playing levels.
We are delighted to welcome special guest conductors and educators Rachel Beeton, Senior Officer of the Australian Army Band, and Nicolas Buff of the Australian Army Band Kapooka.

Our Primary School Band Day caters towards primary school students playing a band instrument for one year or more. Students will have the opportunity to experience new repertoire, learn new skills, and make new friends.

Carpark Party - Everyone is invited to our FREE Carpark Party for an afternoon of live music at the RCM to kick off the Festival weekend in style.
Saturday, March 28

Choose from two band streams and experience a mix of full rehearsals and group tutorials, offering all musicians the opportunity to refine their playing.
Stream 1 – The Wollundry Ensemble
Led by Lieutenant Colonel Rachel Beeton, performing Concert Band Grade 2 repertoire. Ideal for less experienced players or anyone wanting to develop ensemble skills in a supportive environment.
Stream 2 – The Murrumbidgee Band
Conducted by Major Nicolas Buff, tackling Grade 4 repertoire. Perfect for musicians seeking a more challenging experience.

Massed Band Rehearsal.

Festival Finale Concert - Celebrate the weekend with a FREE concert featuring a massed ensemble performance of music created throughout the Festival at the Victory Memorial Gardens.
Cost: $65 per person
Primary School band Day $10 per student
