With hands-on activities for all ages and a fabulous display of artworks for sale, the Festival of Art is a must-visit event held during the Begonia Festival weekend.The big white marquee opposite the botanic Gardens at Lake Wendouree will be filled with art and activity.
The festival kicks off with an Opening Night on Thursday 5th March, 6pm, with drinks and nibbles provided plus the opportunity to chat with artists, have a 'first look' at the work available for purchase and enjoy the summer evening. The Vino & Van Gogh paint and sip evening is on Saturday night, 7th March 6.30-9pm and is a hands-on event where fun and creativity combine with fabulous tuition to result in a take-home original artwork. $70 covers instruction, paint, canvas, supper, wine and soft drink.
