Festival International de Louisiane is heading to Cavalier House Books in Lafayette to launch the publication of a commemorative coffee table book this fall that celebrates the 40th anniversary!🌀The 200-page bilingual hardcover limited edition book reflects on the history of Festival International and the significant role that the cultural event plays in the community. This thought-provoking, artistically designed piece is a time capsule featuring stunning full color photography by many of Louisiana’s most celebrated photographers. Their work vividly captures some of the most memorable performances on city streets and Festival stages across four decades and offers a peek behind-the-scenes to acknowledge the work of the thousands of volunteers who make it all possible.
🎟 The book launch is a ticketed event that will include a short presentation by the book’s creative team on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. Two tickets are included with the purchase of each book. Only limited edition commemorative copies signed by key contributors will be available at the launch; the price is $140. Tickets for the launch presentation only are $10 and seating is limited.
