➡️ Festival de Capoeira hosted by Capoeira Brasil Metro Vancouver 🇧🇷 Come join us to celebrate Brazilian Cultural in South Surrey/White Rock.
📌 This event is broken into two parts and is open to all ages, as we welcome the community to share Brazilian culture.
- First part of the event will take place:
🗓️ September 13th (Saturday)
⏰ 11:00-12:00pm
📍 Memorial Park Plaza at White Rock Beach.
🤸🏾 Come try out the unique art of capoeira a Brazilian martial arts form that combines fight, dance, acrobatics, music and culture. This part of the event will portion with feature a warm up, intro capoeira workshop and an open roda (circle of spectators with capoeira played in the middle) everyone is welcome! If you wish to participate a water bottle & stretchy clothes is recommended.

⏰ 2:00-4:00pm
📍 1273 Fir St, White Rock (gym)
Join us for a traditional batizado (belt ceremony) and cultural performance.
